Cannock Mixed Team made it through to the finals of the EH Mixed Trophy by beating Phoenix in a hard fought game in the semi finals. Cannock went ahead by two goals early in the game but the Phoenix side applied the pressure and brought the score back to 2-2. By half time the score was level at 3-3. Cannock scored what they thought was the winner with 5mins to go but a penalty was awarded against  Cannock with 1 second left on the clock! Both sides entered a period of golden goal extra time.....Cannock found the net after 4mins with a Dave Harris sliding deflection at the far post. Cannock now head into the finals against West Herts at Beeston 3.30 tomorrow (Sunday).
