On the first bank holiday in May 2015 many expected the best sporting event of the weekend to be a boxing match between two of the highest earning sports stars in history. Instead, it was Gary Stacey and his barmy army who produced the knock-out blow as they beat a strong Surbiton side to be crowned National Champions after a season in which they defeated many of the top 2nd team sides in the country.
