Upcoming Games - Saturday 28th January 2012

Welcome to Cannock Hockey Club, founded in 1905, we are one of the most exciting and successful sides in National League history and having played at our home of Chase Park for the last 20 years, which boasts some of best hockey facilities in the country, the future continues to look bring for Mighty Knockers!

The 2011-12 Season brings new challenges to the 1st team as they look to improve upon last sesaon's 8th place finish but with No.1 World Goalkeeper James Fair in the side, exciting times lie ahead for Cannock as we enter into the 2012 Olymipics countdown.
As said previous above, after a terrific second half of the season the 1st team maintained their National League status and finished 8th in the Premier Division and with a young side the only way is up for Coach Andy Mitchell and his Mighty Knockers!
This season also saw the 2nd team win the Midlands Premier League title again for the second successive season, losing only two games all season and winning by a massive seventeen points which was a huge achievement made by captain James Roberts and his team, this success really shows the quality at all levels that Cannock Hockey Club has to offer which makes it one of the best and most exciting places to be for young and upcoming hockey players.

The drive, passion and commitment of the First Team is embodied in our Club motto:

'RESPICE - ASPICE - PROSPICE'

'Cherish the past; Consolidate our present achievements; Be adventurously ambitious for the future.'

Cannock also run seven other men's teams, which continue to have success throughout the Midlands Leagues which saw both the 3rd and 4th Team finish runners-up in their respective leagues last season.

Cannock's Youth section continues to be successful and 2009 saw our U18s become National Champions in their recent cup competition, with our U16s coming 2nd. Along with the recent achievment of England Hockey's “Clubs First” accreditation, which ensures that the Club provides a safe and structured development for our next generation of players, times are looking bright.
