About Cannock HC
Welcome to Cannock Hockey Club
The drive, passion and commitment of our Club is embodied in our motto:
'RESPICE - ASPICE - PROSPICE'
'Cherish the past; Build on our present achievements; Be adventurously ambitious for the future.'
Founded in 1905, we are one of the best established, successful and exciting sides in National League history. At our home venue Chase Park, Cannock has played host to a number of regional and international games and continues to provide facilities for Hockey England’s regional activities. Chase Park has been our home for the last 20 years and offers some of best hockey facilities in the country. We're an ambitious and vibrant club and have set ourselves some extremely tough targets to achieve over the the next few years.
The bedrock of our club is our junior development programme that has consistently delivered players achieving County, Regional and National honours. Our principal aim continues to be one of the leading sustainable Hockey Clubs at a Regional, National and European Level.
The 2016-17 season will see the start of our new era. For too long we have tried to live off the back of our past success, this eventally saw our Men's 1st Team relegated from the National Premeri League of Hockey for the first time in 27 seven years. If we want to get back things have to change.
Within the men's HC, Gary Stacey will take over the reigns, the long term objective is simple. To return to the National Prem with a squad of young and hungry players dedicated not only to their game but to Cannock Hockey Club. We must be a club that recognises that single member matters and ensure that our future is as bright as what our past has been.
We are constantly looking to build on our membership at all levels from the U8's to the Over 65's and no matter what your experience playing or volunteering we have a place for you and your skills within the Club. If you like what you see then apply today to have a further discussion.
Be part a great family club where we are all aspire to be champions!
