Cannock L1s 2 - Beeston
Cannock ladies 1s hosted Beeston knowing they had to up their game to take the full three points. A rocky start saw Cannock on the back foot but they absorbed the pressure well and a break away lead to a short corner which was converted by sarah Martin to put them 1-0 up
Cannock scored their second through Jodie Beddow. Cannock put themselves under pressure and allowed Beeston to get back into the game with a well taken goal. It was a nervy final 10 minutes for the home side but they took the full three points to leave them second in the table.

Man of the match Emma Pardo

Cannock L2s 1 - 2 Leek

A game of two halves.
Saturday lunchtime Cannock 2s travelled to Leek. Old rivalries were very much alive from the offset with both sides needing a win. Cannock started slow and Leek were the quicker side, scoring two goals in the first 20mins. A big shock to the system and a wake up call for Cannock. Cannock regrouped and saw some brilliant link up play from the midfield to Lou who forced a great save from the keeper but she could not deny Emma Smith who followed up with the rebound to pull one back before half time.
After the half time break we saw a different Cannock side, passing with more fluidity and creating some goal scoring chances. Chances that forced some excellent saves from the keeper who kept them in the game. The majority of the play stayed in the Leek half, but as the final whistle went the score stood at 2-1 where there was undoubtedly an air of disappointment going home.

Cannock M5s 7-3 Aldridge & Walsall M3s

Saturday saw Cannock welcome Aldridge & Walsall to chase park who were both struggling for goals this seasons before this game Cannock only having scored one goal and A&W only having scored 2 , the game started and shortly after Cannock found themselves 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Raff however shortly after Aldridge and Walsall made a break and scored a good goal on a difficult angle to make it 1-1. Cannock were quick to response and found themselves 2-1 up after Pete Westwood had bag his first ever league goal proud moment indeed for the player and his team but Aldridge & Walsall carried on showing their fighting spirit and found the equaliser to make it 2-2 when their forward found himself 1 on 1 with the Cannock goal keeper who didn't manage to close him down in time and the player got his double , then shortly before half time Aldridge & Walsall forward yet again manage to get one on one with the keeper to slot the ball home for his hatrick to give the opposition a 3-2 half time lead.
At half time Cannock skipper Matt spoke about more communication and passing the ball around more message that clearly sunk in, also there were some true wise words spoke by Gary Jones to help lift the team.
The second half started and right from the go Cannock were dominant right until the final whistle meaning the skipper in goal was merely as good as a spectator with Nat Yerbury, Sam Cattell getting a goal each and Gary Jones getting a hatrick the final score 7-3 in favour to Cannock , a first win of the season for this 5th team who are slowly going in the right direction as a team together , every player should be proud of their effort today for a great team performance , special mention to the badgers who step up to the plate when their club needed them Nat yerbury + Henry jones , also even bigger mention to Jake Luke who played his first league game today and did really well.

Credit where credit is due well done to the opposition for battling hard even tho they only had 9 players.

Mom -  Gary Jones - well done on the hatrick
