THANK YOU
On behalf of the Hockey Club I should like to thank the ALL volunteers who made this event, over the four days, so successful. Members support and help is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the events.
Our thanks to all those who contributed cakes and who served either in the kitchen or on the refreshment stall. Also our thanks to those who helped on the car parking and litter patrols. There was also the preparation work which was done to set up the site. The volunteers included representatives from all the teams in the Men’s Club together with those from the Ladies Hockey Club. We were also supported by friends and non playing members of both clubs.
So many of our visitors commented on the friendly and helpful welcome that they received.
There were many individual contributions but overall it was a team effort and thank you to you all.
