THANK YOU
On behalf of the Hockey Club I should like to thank ALL volunteers who made this event, over the four days, so successful. Members support and help is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the events.
Our thanks to all those who contributed cakes and who served either in the kitchen or on the refreshment stall. Particular thanks go to Ian Morris, Jude Hitchens and Judy Ganecki for their efforts in organising the set up and running of the catering and outside refreshment stall. Hopefully this will be the first of many joint ventures.
Also our thanks to those who helped on the car parking and litter patrols. Particular thanks to ‘Scratch’ who did all four days and the ‘A’ team who did two full 8 hour days on Thursday and Friday.
We must also thank Laurie Alcock for his efforts most of which are not immediately obvious but help to ensure that these events work so well.
Further thanks to Graham Machin for his support and efforts to help the event run smoothly. He is supported by the all the staff who have been thanked separately.
Your efforts were reflected once more in the many positive comments from both our visitors.
