Badgers Family Fun Day

In glorious sunshine at Chase Park Cannock's Badgers and their parents enjoyed a final day of the hockey season with a number of 7-a-side games. With 30 players split between 4 teams of 'Ladies', 'Dads' and 2 'Badgers' teams captained by Dan Hoare and Dom Hoare respectively, some great hockey was played with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves.
After each team had played 4 games, Dan's Badgers team took on the 'Dads' in the final and following an extensive period of extra time when the 'Dads' ran out of steam, the Badgers time won the mini tournament and received an Easter Egg each for their efforts.
The hockey for the day was completed with a 30 minute game of 'everyone on the pitch' which ended in a 3-1 win for one of the sides. After this everyone retired to the clubhouse to enjoy and share the food they had brought with them. A great way to end a fantastic season of junior hockey."
