Cannock U14 Boys Head to Norwich!

Posted by Nobody on 20 February 2013

Following Cannock Boys U14 success at Tier 1 of the competition when they finished top of Midlands League 1 table having been undefeated they travel to Norwich for Tier 2 (Regional).

Eight teams from the local leagues in each regional cluster qualify for this stage.  Each new pool has different teams but there are occasions where teams from the same tier 1 pool will be in the same tier 2 pool (this is where there have only been three leagues in a particular cluster).

The eight teams who have qualified will be separated into two pools. Each team will play each other once on Saturday 13 April with the winner of that pool going through to the National Finals (Beeston Hockey Club - 11th & 12th May 2013). Please note that there are no cross over matches between the two pools.

The pools & hosts are as follows:-

Midlands Section Regional Cluster

Hosts - Norwich City (Pool A), Rugby & East Warwickshire (Pool B)

Midlands Pool A - Cambridge City, Cannock, Leicester, Norwich City
Midlands Pool B - Edgbaston, Lichfield, Phoenix (Essex), Rugby & EW
