Cannock confirm Hitchens appointment!

Cannock Hockey Club is both excited and proud to announce they have appointed Jude Hitchens at their new Community Club Development Officer with immediate effect. Jude, who has played for Cannock Ladies over the last three decade, will take responsibility of developing the membership at Cannock Hockey Club and promoting the sport in the community. This will include developing links with both primary & secondary schools as well as launching a new back-2-hockey scheme to take place at Cannock Hockey Club from September.
We already have a satellite club set-up at Erasmus Darwin School and the club will look to set-up competitions between local schools at our base of Chase Park. When asked about her thoughts on the new role Jude said: "I am so happy to be playing such a key role at the club I love. Cannock is best hockey club in the midlands, with its facilities, quality of its provision and success on the pitch. I cant wait to get started and spread the Cannock message."
If you are interested in playing hockey then Cannock is the place for you. We have training sessions suitable for all levels from ages of 8to80. Our Junior Training will start Thursday 8th September (6-7pm, £2 per session) with our Back-2-Hockey Sessions for all ages and abilities starting a week later on Thursday 15th September (7-8pm, also £2 per session). The opening Club Night to welcome back current and returning Members will also be on Thursday 8th September and will push off with a 6-a-side tournament.
