Cannock U16s travelled to Shrewsbury in the third round of the England Hockey Cup full of confidence after a comfortable passage through in the previous round.

And today proved very much the same with the closest thing between the sides were there shirt colours after Cannock played in maroon. Five goals for Argen Chana, four for Tom Morris, a brace for both Lewis Round and Geevan Dhanda as well as a single goal from Jack (The Joker!) Middleton completed the very one sided game.

It has been made very clear in theses two cup games that with the ability and quality Cannock have they will no doubt go far in the competition however, what will worry coach Will Fleet is Cannock's lack of willingness to pass the ball. Against better sides the U16s will need to learn the word 'poosession' in order to prove they are best in the country.
