Cannock 8ths continued there turn around in performance with a hard fought victory against Telford 5th's.

A side with a blend of experience and youth performed admirably and played the much better hockey throughout the game.

Cannock dominated the game and missed several one on one chances with the visitor's keeper making crucial saves.

Captain Alan Craddock drilled home the winning goal with 10mins to go and praised the side for its desire to play the passing game. In particular he picked young Ed Fleet for recognition for in his first full game at right back.

The introduction to adult hockey for the young lads is a credit to their ability, and the 8th teams' ability to nurture the next generation of players.
