Cannock 8ths made use of the revised league rules and played the game against Wednesbury as a friendly fixture.

The game was played in a good spirit by both teams, with Cannock coming out eventual winners, and Cannock Stalwart Alan Craddock scoring a hat-trick.

The youngsters relished playing alongside Chris Mayer, with Madison Knapp scoring two, and Jack Myatt, fresh out of the badgers getting a goal.

The eighths travel to Stafford next week and look forward to another good game.
