The 6ths XI travelled to Warwick on a pleasent Sunday afternoon to fulfill a re-arranged game that had been postponed earlier in the season due to the horrific winter we have all seen this season.

Despite coming away with nothing and the result meaning little to the 6ths due to their position in the league and almost certain relegation, there were more positives than negatives to the game.

The game saw youngster Matt Sanders have a very productive afternoon as well as seeing the continued progression from the ever willing Paul Martin. It was also the club's pleasure to see the return in today's game of two legends of Cannock Hockey Club. Paul Harris and James Macpherson have both been out for 17 and 21 months respectively due to very different, but both serious injuries and as a club we would like to the opportunity to fully welcome them back into the fold.

It was quite magical to see two individuals finally make it back on the pitch and play the game that we all enjoy.
