Despite the best efforts of the 6th team, they could not stop the rampaging 5th team in their desperate fight for promotion. The 5th team proved to be too strong in front of goal and left 'keeper Rufus Horn with little chance of keeping the score down.

Goals for the young Jack Myatt, and the 'not so young' Derek Prince were the only consolation for their endeavours.

Positive points for the 6th team this season has been the work skipper Nick Colclough has done with the youngsters in his team, backing them throughout the season. This will stand them in good stead for next season as they strive to move up the teams.
