This was a well contested game and both sides showed spirit and endeavour. In the early stages Cannock dominated but their passing and options in the final stages tended to let them down.

Alan Craddock scored from a short corner but Sutton replied fairly promptly also from a short corner. In the second half the Cannock side put in to action the half time discussion about focussing on doing the basics well in attacking situations and as a result scored three goals without reply.

Tom Edwards, Rich Parker, Nick Middleton and Matt Wheldon flew the flag extremely well for the young talent and were ably supported by the experienced Alan Craddock.

Chris Ashton finished off a move starting from our own twenty five, which was probably our best goal of the season.
