Cannock battled hard in this inter-club encounter, but could not find the net despite a number of chances. Rufus Horn, in goal for the 6ths, pulled off a number of good saves to keep them in the game, but could not stop a rasping shot from the 5th team.

Despite this mis-fortune, the team continued to battle and a deserved equaliser came from Tom Edwards. However the 5th team got a late winner to add to the woes of the 6th team.
