In possibly their toughest match so far this season, and missing a number of players, Cannock 6ths did themselves proud and battled all the way to the final whistle.

Cannock were two down at half time, despite the valiant efforts of the team. The young lads performed admirably; however, North Staffs made it 3-0 shortly after the break.

It was a good test of character for younger and older players alike. Alex Shepherd had a good game and so did Richard Parker and Jack Myatt. Tom Edwards distributed the ball well, and showed determination when in possession. Parker scored Cannock's only goal from a well worked short corner.
