Cannock 6ths fought a typically spirited game against Stourport. Nick Middleton, having settled into the side well opened the scoring for Cannock, but the lead didn't last as Stourport equalised. Cannock took the lead just before the break through a goal that the Stourport players believed had already been blown for a foul.

The visitors got their revenge soon after the break though, as they too scored from a disputed goal. The game seemed destined for a draw, with neither side being allowed much room to create goal scoring opportunities.

Callum Jenvey had a good performance at left back, and Derek Prince, still recovering from yet another injury was influential as sweeper.
