This was an evenly fought game in which Cannock had the first few chances but Stourport scored with a break away goal. Greg bloomer chased a long, seemingly lost ball, and equalised with a brave dive in to the keeper just before half-time.

In the second half the pattern of play was similar but Stourport edged the final result with a 3 -2 win; mark Cotterill being the other Cannock scorer from a penalty corner.
