The last game of the season saw Cannock come up against their relegated counterparts in a thrilling and intense match where pride was as important as the result.

Despite the valiant efforts of the 6ths and their keeper Rufus Horn, the 5ths proved that their worth by simply outclassing their opponents with their speed on the ball and clinical finishing in front of goal.

A brace from Chris Bolt and Richard Sadler as well as goals from Alex Hill and the excellent captain Tim Butler completed a convincing victory.

However, the 'remarkable' Stourport 4ths 4-1 home victory over the previously unbeaten division winners Edgbaston 5ths denied Cannock 5ths promotion.
