Cannock's most important game of the season produced a cracker for spectators but mixed feels for Cannock.

After such a good start with a Chris Bolt goal in the first minute, Cannock found themselves 2-1 down after some sloppy defending but they countered and went into half-time 3-2 up after a second goal from Chris Bolt and one from Mandeep Sandhar.

With Cannock needing to win to really cement their promotion hopes, they lost another vital goal and never found a comeback despite having most of the possession in the second half.

Cannock's hopes of promotion are now slim but to have a chance they must win their final two games which are away to Worcester and Cannock 6ths.
