Third placed Cannock travelled to leaders Stourport knowing that anything but win would end their promotion prospects.

Cannock certainly delivered, the youngsters, including Andy Balmer, Lewis Jecketts, James Bailey and keeper Carl Addison all played extremely well and blended superbly with the experience of Richard Jones, Andy Hodgetts, Tim Butler and Raff Moscatiello. They were also good defensively with Phil Allen, Steve Hyde and Duncan Cooper all stopping any Stourport threat.

A brace from Richard Jones and another from captain Raff Moscatiello saw Cannock win comfortably with signs pointing towards promotion if performance standards reach remain this high. Next week see Cannock play the unbeaten Edgbaston which make or break their whole season.
