The 4ths played host to West Bridgford 4ths and buoyed by the previous week's 6-2 win at Sutton Coldfield, ground out a 2-0 win against a young side who chased and harried throughout the game.

Veteran Dave Wigg and Greg Bloomer scored Cannock's goals. Lewis Jecketts was promoted into the side and settled in well, he looked comfortable on the ball and made several incisive runs into the West Bridgford defence.
