Cannock 4's travelled to Wyndley to face a resolute Sutton team. Cannock immediately found out the importance of starting the game strongly, when a through ball caught the visitors defence napping. The Sutton player fired of a quick shot to put them one up.

This woke the Cannock team, and they started to dominate the play more, although they could not capitalise in the D.

This did change however and Broome, having a marvellous season, led the attack with two goals. Dan Beck looked comfortable going forward, beating players with ease.

Cannock looked good going forward, but showed frailties in defence that will have to be improved upon over the next few weeks.
