Cannock 4ths expected a tough match at home to Nottingham University 4ths but the students fell victim to exam scheduling and could only field 9 players including a 'keeper who had never played before but still managed to make some fine saves.

Cannock took advantage winning 7-1 with Clarke Drew and Andy Broome getting a brace each with Dan Beck, Greg Bloomer and goal-poacher Dave Wigg scoring their other goals.
