Every year most hockey players take a break during the summer to rest and look forward to the new season ahead. There are other players who love the sport so much (and dont like cricket!) that they get involved in Summer League Hockey.

This summer season has seen us hold two teams, Cannock and Hatherton respectively, within the Summer Divisions. Captain's Alex Hill and James Hudson have both organised teams well which has seen both of them perform well throughout the league.

Honours ended even during the league as the two "friendly" matches between each side ended even with a win for each side.

Nevertheless, special mention must go James Hudson's Hatherton Team as they won their division on goal difference after taking maximum points from their 10 games season.

A great way to prepare for the new winter league!
