2010 will see us host numerous events as we try and raise funds for the successful running of the club. To this we need our members to help out in any way they can. The document below should explain, please help out in any way possible.

The Club needs volunteers for Events

As you can see we are due to host a number of events. We do not yet have full details but we will need volunteers to help. In the past we have been grateful to those members who have given their time. We will need volunteers to help with some of the tasks from the list below

•  organise and supervise the car parking

•  sell programmes and/or tickets

•  sell refreshments

•  help with the barbecue

•  ballboys

•  pitch stewards and watering

•  general ground security

Our requirements will depend upon the numbers expected and the arrangements agreed with the organisers.

We now have to plan for these events so the Club is asking all members to indicate their availability for the days of the events. You may already have been asked by your team captain or seen the poster on the noticeboard but more volunteers helps to share out the load.

This effort helps raise valuable funds for the Hockey Club and also brings extra business to the Main Club.

The events are:-

• National Schools Girls Finals Mon 01/03/10 – Thurs 04/03/10
• EH U16 & U18 Girls and Boys Finals Sat 10/04/10 & Sun 11/04/10
• National Schools Boys Finals Mon 19/04/10 – Thurs 22/04/10
• English Hockey League Play Offs Sat 01/05/10 - Mon 03/05/10
• U17 JAC National Finals Sat 08/05/10 & Sun 09/05/10
