Work has started on replacing the water based pitch, with the current carpet now removed and ready for disposal.

We are still on schedule to complete the work by Friday 14th September, but we require a working party on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of September to help replace the pitch side boards and perform other odd jobs. Ken Bedford will be on hand to oversee the efforts. If people can bring cordless drills, 7mm wood and metal drill bits, 10-12mm sockets or spanners, hammers and paint brushes etc, it will help the effort.

The work parties will start at 10.30am on both days, so please spare the time to help.

To help fund the pitch, we will be looking for donations from members, and also a massive fund raising effort from members over the next five years. Your team captains will be instrumental in this and will help co-ordinate the fund-raising.

We are still working with local councils/potential pitch sponsors to find funds to replace pitch two.
