We have managed to secure a five year loan for the money to replace Pitch One with a new carpet. We will be putting down a Tiger Turf "WETT" system pitch that reports to require less water than conventional waterbased pitches.

The work is scheduled to start on Tuesday 28th August and will take approximately three weeks.

We require a working party on Sunday 12th August to help remove and re-paint the pitch side boards and ease the carpet up at the edges. Ken Bedford will be on hand to oversee the efforts. If people can bring spanners, paint brushes etc, it will help the effort.

To help fund the repayments of this pitch, we will be looking for donations from members, and also a massive fund raising effort from members over the next five years. Your team captains will be instrumental in this and will help co-ordinate the fund-raising.

We are still working with local councils/potential pitch sponsors to find funds to replace pitch two.
