England Hockey Clubs 1st Accreditation

Cannock Hockey Club has been recognised as working towards providing a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly club environment, and as such has been awarded the England Hockey Clubs 1st Accreditation.

The Club has successfully completed the assessment process and following an independent Nominated Officer’s visit to the club has received the honour of been accredited by England Hockey and will soon receive a Clubmark accreditation from Sport England. These are both nationally recognised awards that demonstrate Cannock HC’s determination to provide a safe and effective club environment for the future of the sport.

Natasha Ellis, Development Administrator for England Hockey congratulated the club for all their hard work in completing the application and their dedication in achieving the accreditation.

This now means the club can use the Clubs 1st logo on all official communications and hopefully will receive a range of benefits, priority bookings and increased recognition from the County Sport Partnership and other Funding Agencies.
