The U13's rose to the challenge of facing physically larger and stronger North Staffs and Leek squads in magnificent style.

Strengthened by Josh Edwards and Jordan Bosi who volunteered to make up numbers, they gelled quickly and worked hard for each-other. Dan, Elliot and Jake ran and battled, then battled back again; Max stood firm in midfield and Tom marked closely in defence.

Also defence, Dan deserves a special mention for his full length diving reverse stick tackle protecting the U11 'keeper James who had withstood a barrage of shots from the Leek forwards. All players displayed excellent attitude and spirit and were a credit to the club. Bring on the next opposition!
