We currently run teams for all age groups from Under 9's to Under 18's. Teams are entered into a number of festivals throughout the year, and we see this is as being very important for the more junior players, when the FUN aspects of hockey are first learnt.

There are regular tournaments and festivals for U13's, U15's and U18's, together with the National Cup competitions organised by England Hockey.

When the children get to the U13 age group, the girls join our ladies section and are coached separately.

Our older juniors, who are not quite ready to play in adult leagues (generally 12 to 14), can play in one of our two 'badgers' teams against teams from around the area. These games consist of one or two adults and are used to coach the boys in the skills and tactics of adult hockey.

In line with England Hockey's move to select age group teams using Jan 1st as the cut off date, all our junior teams will be structured in this way.
