  • Staffs JAC 2011-present

Gary Stacey joined Cannock in 2009 as Coach of our under 14 age group and last season lead them to become Regional Champions. Gary also joined the club as a player where he assisted captain Ian Morris in the 6th team again helping us as a club to bring on our juniors. This season will see Gary given the big task of making our U18 age group National Champions again after our success in 2009. Gary's enthusasm for the game rubs off on all around him and if the team's shares his dedication and committment to the game then Cannock will come very close again this year to lifting the trophy.

Team Manager:

Liam Daffern

Coaching History:

  • Level One Coach
  • Wednesbury Juniors

Liam Daffern joined Cannock Hockey Club from Wednesbury this season and has immediately got involved. Liam's all action style and never-say-die attidude on the pitch will hopefully help him and the U18s to a successful season.

Assistant:

Will Fleet

Coaching History:

  • Cannock U16s 2009-10
Will's rise through the ranks has been quite a remarkable one. Always a talented hockey player it looked like Will had found his level in our 3rd team however, over the last two years Will has shown that hard work and dedication can help you go that extra mile and it has seen him shoot through the net and back into the plans of 1st team coach Andy Mitchell. Will is well liked through-out club and his story of success can not only be admired but can be used as inspiration for any young player. This year will see Will return to the Junior set-up as assistant to Gary in the U18 age group after helping our U16 age group finish 2nd two years ago, hopefully this year they can go one better!
