Junior England Success!
Cannock this summer had four of its juniors play for England, details as follows:
* Arjan Drayton Chana and Tom Morris U16's and Nick Bandurak and Tom Pinnegar at U18 travelled to Krefeld Germany in Germany for a series vs the hosts in sweltering heat that saw them playing in temperatures of 36 degrees! They played superbly against very strong opposition and proved themselves to be key players on the pitch. Tom P pulled off a series of excellent saves. Tom M, Nick and Arjan wreaked havoc in the German defences.
* Nick and Tom P then travelled to Cork to represent England in the Home Nations. They cruised past Wales and Scotland but lost out in a titanic battle against Ireland who eventually ran out as tournament winners. Nick finished as top Eng U18 goal scorer of the tournament and season.
* This weekend Tom Morris travels to Newcastle to compete in the UK student games.
