 Welcome to Cannock Hockey Club, one of the most successful sides in National League history. After a tough season, the First Team finished 3rd in the Slazenger England Hockey League Premier Division and fought through to the second round of the European Hockey League. The drive, passion and commitment of the First Team is embodied in our Club motto: 'RESPICE - ASPICE - PROSPICE - Cherish the past; Consolidate our present achievements; Be adventurously ambitious for the future.' Cannock also run seven other men’s teams, which continue to have success throughout the Midlands Leagues. This year saw the Women’s section rightly earn their place in the Slazenger England Hockey League, Conference West Division. The women now have 6 other teams playing weekly in local league hockey. Cannock’s Youth section continues to be successful and the recent achievment England Hockey's “Clubs First” accreditation will ensure that the Club provides and safe and structured development for our next generation of players. |
