Pocztowiec has been the sports club of Telecommunication and Post Office employees in Poland since 1932 and offers numerous disciplines including light athletics, swimming, skiing, cycling, tennis, skating, etc.

The hockey section plays a special role in the history of the club. On December 23, 1975 the agreement was signed to take over the hockey section of WKS Grunwald. Although only 20 years have passed, hockey has a successful history. Since 1976 the senior team has played in the first division in Poland. Champion titles were won in 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1988, 1991, 1995, 1998, 2004 and 2005. The club also has junior teams.

The seniors have taken part in indoor tournaments since 1977, having won the title of the champions of Poland in 1981, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2005. The team took the third place in the European Indoor Club Championships in Hamburg in 1998, second place in the European Indoor Club Championships in Wettingen in 2001. It won the European Indoor Club Championships in Hamburg in February 2003 and again took the second place in the European Indoor Club Championships in 2005 in Wien. The team took third place in the European Cup Winners Cup in 2001 in Amsterdam.

This year the team took the second place in the European Indoor Club Championships in Bad Durkheim.
