The Atlètic Terrassa Hockey Club is a private non-profit sports entity that was established in 1952 as the result of the initiative of a group of friends who shared the same hobby - hockey.
Sports, youth, quality of life and nature: these are the four basic pillars which support the philosophy of a club with over fifty years of history that looks to the future with ambitiuos plans, excitement and expectations.
From 1952 to the present, the Atlètic Club has never stopped growing socially, creating a large family, nor in terms of sports success.
At present, the Atlètic Club occupies over eight hectares of land in Masia de Can Salas, surrounded by woods and located at the foot of Sant Llorenç del Munt i de l’Obac Natural Reserve. The total land includes an area of over 60 hectares, and the club is working on expanding and improving its facilities.
Atlètic’s hockey tittles:
- 2 European Cups
- 2 Cup Winners Cups
- 1 Indoor European Cup
- 14 Spanish Leagues
- 13 Spanish Cups
The secret to the success of the Atlètic Club is its youngest members. In other words, the Hockey School. The club considers training of young players to be one of its sports priorities. Therefore, it makes a significant effort and is extremely dedicated in this field. Nearly all players on the first team are coaches/trainers for the youngest boys and girls. Atlètic philosophy is to consider sports not only as a competitive activity. Rather, the club is very commited to installing values such as good manners, sportsmanship, and other positive values to its youngest members.
Atlètic is not just a hockey club. It has eight different sports sections and a large social group, with more than 5.000 members. It is a club filled with vitality.
